1. WHAT WE RECEIVE

When you build or visit a page we may collect:

  • The e-mail you used to sign-up and an encrypted hash of your password.
  • Details you voluntarily add: display name, short bio, avatar, color choices, social links, buttons, embeds, etc.
  • Technical logs: IP, browser type, pages viewed, referral address, device identifiers.
  • Payment data if you upgrade: card brand, last 4 digits, expiry – all tokenized by our payment partner; we never see the full number.
  • Optional feedback, support tickets or survey answers.

2. WHY WE USE IT

We process the above to:

  • Create your personal page and keep it online.
  • Take payments, issue invoices, prevent fraud.
  • Answer questions or fix bugs.
  • Measure traffic, run A/B tests and decide which features to build next.
  • Send essential service e-mails (password reset, receipt, security alert) and, if you allow, product news that can be turned off in one click.

3. WHEN WE SHARE

We do not sell personal data. We only disclose it:

  • To vetted sub-processors (cloud host, analytics, error tracker, e-mail sender) bound by confidentiality.
  • When the law, court order or fraud-prevention service requires it.
  • If the business is sold or merged; the new owner must follow this notice.
  • With your explicit consent (for example, if you connect a third-party widget).

4. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Active accounts: data stays until you delete it.

Deleted accounts: most information is erased within 30 days, except anonymized analytics and anything we must keep for tax or legal reasons.

5. SECURITY STEPS

HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords, encrypted backups, limited employee access, 2-factor auth on all admin consoles. Even so, no web service can promise perfect security; you use it at your own risk.

6. YOUR CONTROLS

At any time you may:

  • Export a JSON file of everything linked to your profile.
  • Correct or erase details in the dashboard.
  • Close the account, which deletes public pages and most underlying records.
  • Object to certain data uses by e-mailing us; we will honour lawful requests within 30 days.

7. COOKIES & SIMILAR TECH

We set:

  • Strictly-necessary cookies for log-in sessions.
  • Analytics cookies to count visits (no personal identifiers).
  • Preference cookies to remember language or theme.
    Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; parts of the site may then break.

8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Your page can contain buttons, videos or fonts loaded from other sites. Once you leave profilena.me their own privacy rules apply.

9. AGE LIMIT

The service is meant for people 13 and older. If we learn someone younger has shared personal data we will promptly delete it.

10. CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE

We may update it. Revisions go live on this page with a new “Effective” date; for major changes we will also e-mail you or show an in-app banner.

12. COMPANY-FIRST TERMS (applicable to every user, no exceptions)

  • profilena.me may alter or revoke any term, feature or price at any moment without prior notice; continued use equals acceptance.
  • We reserve the right to suspend, disable or permanently delete any account, with or without warning, if we detect sexual content, vulgar language, hate speech, spam, impersonation, copyright breach, or any activity we deem suspicious or harmful to our brand, users or infrastructure.
  • All decisions regarding account status, content removal or data retention are final and non-negotiable.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold profilena.me, its owners, employees and partners harmless from any claim, cost or damage arising out of your use of the service.
